• Usage and applications of a variety of caps and striking equipment
• Introduce using multiple colours & application techniques; meche, cap, foil.

• Fringes; sectioning and achieving different looks.
• Trimming & maintenance of looks; tasks.
• Drying; demo drying with different brushes to achieve variety of looks, tasks.

This course develops from the previously gained cutting skills to introduce you to the more advanced cutting techniques. This is the next step of cutting aimed to give the stylist wider knowledge and experience to able them to produce a wider variety of effects and modern and up to date styles. Upon completion students will be successfully able to complete all of the above and will be comfortable with their role as an experienced stylist. Tasks will be completed throughout the day to monitor the individual progression made by the students.

Upon successful completion of the course students will be issued with a certificate nationally recognised and insurable by The GUILD Of Professional Beauty Therapists.

Everything needed on this course will be provided however students are expected to purchase there own dummy heads with long hair to train on. This is available to buy from Salon Xperts wholesale suppliers based on site with Salma’s Beauty Academy. Prices start from approx £25.00 for artificial hair but human hair prices will vary, please enquire with academy (learners developing to the colouring course will require human hair head)

This course develops the previous skills with colouring/processing the hair into using this knowledge to permanently curling the hair. Everything required on this course will be provided however students are expected to purchase there own dummy heads with long Human hair to train on.
