2. Salma’s Beauty academy reserve the rights in the design, text, graphics, images and course material, handouts, website, prospectus, and all other literature are the copyright of Salma’s Beauty Academy and the use of them is not permitted without prior approval in writing from Salma’s Beauty Academy. Any other use of the academy materials including reproduction for purposes and alteration, modification, distribution or republication without our prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

3. All materials, handouts, workbooks and other literature supplied by Salma’s Beauty Academy must not be copied or used in any way. All material is copyright to the Academy and MUST NOT be reproduced in any form.

4. All courses must be booked in advance and a minimum deposit of £50.00 is required to secure the place. This fee is non- refundable and non-transferable.
The full payment of the course must be received prior to the course date. If students do not turn up on the date of the course they shall lose the full payment for the course.
If students don’t turn up due to illness a letter from the doctor is required other excuses will not be acceptable.

If NVQ students do not attend any course dates, portfolio, workshop or assessment days they shall be issued with the first stage of the disciplinary procedure.

5. Places on courses can only be guaranteed if the minimum payment has been received.

6. All payments must be paid for in full before commencing the course. If students wish to pay the remaining amount on the day of the course please phone the office.

7. All students must act and behave appropriately and not undertake any act that would bring dishonour to the Academy, as this could result in the candidate/student to be dismissed.

8. The students must be dressed appropriately for ALL courses and are required to wear white/black beauty tunics and black trousers.

9. Open toe shoes and stilettos heels are NOT allowed

10. Jewellery except wedding bands must not be worn.

11. Hair must be tied away from the face.

12. Headgear (e.g. caps, hats, etc) beside religious headscarf and turbans should NOT be worn. Any head gear worn for religious purposes must be black or white with no loose ends hanging

13. All students are responsible for there own clients/ models to work on and demonstrate the practical skills during the course. The academy will try but cannot guarantee to arrange for models. Please call the office and enquire what time models are required. For students travelling from out of town who cannot arrange for models please call the office at least 1 week before the date of the course and we shall try to arrange for models to attend.

14. Salma’s Beauty academy reserves the right to change the course contents, materials, tutors, training dates/days, venue and course requirements at any time without prior notice.

15. All students must practise between two day courses.

16. Students must not wear nail enhancements and coloured nail varnish during courses

17. Children are not allowed in to the training academy during training.

18. Please enquire about courses that require you to bring you own kit. Kits maybe purchased from the academy if prior notice is given.

19. Refreshments will be provided

20. Mobile phones must be switched off in the training rooms at all times

21. Salma’s Beauty Academy reserves the right to decline applicants for valid reasons

22. Salma’s Beauty Academy will not tolerate abuse Physical or verbal abuse to any members of staff at any time.

23. Refreshments will be available for you to enjoy during break times of your course. Please be aware, that if you suffer from allergies. Salma’s Beauty Academy has no control over the ingredients of the refreshments available and takes no responsibility for clients suffering any allergic reactions

24. All students must abide by the Terms and Conditions of the Academy at all times. These are also available on our website at www.salmasbeautyacademy.com. Any students that do not abide by the rules will not be accepted on to the course and may lose their deposit.

25. As part our service to provide excellent customer service we operate a equal opportunities policy

26. Salma’s Beauty academy operates a non-smoking policy. Sorry for any inconvience caused.

28. All student and client information here at the academy is kept confidential.

29. Students who do not meet the required standards in order to successfully complete the criteria shall be invited back to join the next class of the same subject with NO extra cost

30. Students who feel they need extra practice after the training are welcome to come back and join other classes in the same price within six months of the course date. After the six months students shall be have to pay the full fee of the course.

31. Any students failing to comply with the Terms & Conditions, has poor attendance or has insufficient communication with academy will incur the disciplinary procedure which may result in withdrawal from any courses with no refund or exchange options.
